In the Japanese language, "Ashi" translates to foot and "Atsu" into pressure. Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy is a barefoot massage modality utilizing western massage techniques to improve the client's postural alignment, range of motion, muscle responsiveness, and overall health and well-being.
Great when you need a little deeper work. If you've never had an Ashiatsu massage before and are curious what the fuss is all about, we encourage you to try new things. Book your first Ashiatsu massage with Maia in our new Medford Office at 27 Crater Lake Ave and get $20 OFF to check it out.
Craniosacral Therapy uses precise, light touch techniques to identify and release restrictions within the cranium. sacrum, and spinal cord, promoting optimal nervous system function. This therapy can be used to alleviate various conditions and is often an appropriate and effective treatment to heal traumas to the nervous system, including those experienced during car accidents. In our experience, clients who receive Craniosacral therapy in conjunction with massage have decreased healing times and improved outcomes overall. Morgan has an incredible sensitivity and is ready to help.
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), is a gentle massage technique that helps move lymph fluid through the body. It helps the body remove waste and toxins, and can help with swelling.
MLD uses light pressure and specific massage techniques to stimulate the lymph nodes and move lymph fluid toward them. The massage usually starts with the armpits, neck, and groin area. Michelle combines this gentle technique with a nurturing presence to help you feel rejuvenated and refreshed.
Pelvic care is a comprehensive approach to bodywork that focuses on the interconnected areas of the pelvis, addressing not only the muscles attached to the pubic bone but also the regions from the diaphragm to the knees. Everything in the body is connected, and tension or imbalance in the pelvic area can contribute to issues like knee pain, low back pain, hip discomfort, organ prolapse, incontinence, or scarring from trauma.
This therapy utilizes gentle, non-invasive techniques, including external pelvic floor work (avoiding direct contact with the genitals) to release muscle attachments around the pubic bone and inner thighs. Additional approaches may include guided exercises to lengthen and strengthen pelvic floor muscles, breathing techniques to encourage relaxation, and familiar methods common to other forms of bodywork.
The pelvic region often holds significant tension without our conscious awareness, and releasing that tension can be transformative—helping to alleviate chronic pain and reduce emotional stress. Even subtle attention to this area can lead to profound improvements in physical and emotional well-being. Book with Julia to experience relief.

Swedish massage is no less therapeutic than more specific deep treatments if nervous system regulation is what is necessary and appropriate for the betterment of the individual. Stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) through soothing long strokes may provide numerous physiological benefits including the lowering of blood pressure, increasing circulation, and mitigating chronic stress factors by down regulating the sympathetic nervous system (fight/flight/freeze). People with anxiety and/or trouble sleeping may benefit from this style of massage.

Pelvic floor massage is a specialized form of bodywork that focuses on the muscles, connective tissues, and surrounding areas of the pelvic region. These muscles play a critical role in supporting the spine, hips, and organs, as well as in bladder and bowel control, sexual function, and overall core stability.
This therapy involves gentle, external techniques to release tension, improve circulation, and address issues such as chronic pain, incontinence, postpartum recovery, or pelvic trauma. By promoting relaxation and restoring balance, pelvic floor massage can also help with emotional blockages, as the pelvic region is closely connected to feelings of safety, confidence, and stability.
The process is conducted with sensitivity and respect for the client’s comfort, offering a safe, non-invasive way to support both physical and emotional healing.
